Take a look inside Central Library...
In 2010, Manchester Central Library and the neighbouring Town Hall Extension closed for a three-year programme of extensive refurbishment and restoration. Did anyone think the old layout looked like the library from the film Seven? Dingy lights on long vintage desks, old dusty books etc? There were no security guards playing cards though.
