To celebrate International Women’s Day, Robogals are running two LEGO Robotics Workshops at The Avenue Library in Higher Blackley.
In these fun & educational and free workshops, children learn the basics of engineering, robotics & programming using LEGO Mindstorms NXT kits. The workshops are aimed at girls & young women and they are especially encouraged to come along – but all children are welcome!
Robogals is a student-run organisation that aims to increase female participation in engineering, science & technology through fun & educational initiatives aimed at girls of primary & secondary school age.
